Wow so many videos up already, guess there's some extra giddiness around the tour with the new stuff. Last night But Genevieve sounded pretty awesome, Black Sail (had no idea what it was called at the time but caught enough of the lyrics to think 'ooh this might be Black Sail') was also good but I too spent the first part of the song thinking 'is this new or are they just fcking up I Was Wrong?' ;D

Security were bellends, which took something away from the back part of the gig, and all told it felt like a bit of a rehearsal gig soundwise, but it was a top nite out in a packed venue with a boisterous and up-for-it crowd. Also good to be bumping into mates I ain't seen in 10+ years, city fans mind but hey, & enjoyed a good natter with the Slum Bastard Landlord of these parts, who it's probably also been 10 years or so.

Cheers Fiendy for booking the hotel, doing the driving, posting s**t on here that meant me getting an earful from Ez within seconds of walking into the Nag's Head ;) glad I didn't disturb you too much whilst calling Ralph through the small hours :innocent:

See you all in Leeds :D right then, video time...

I just want to point out that I never said that you were washing your balls.

Just ball-washing mate, nowt newsworthy about it at all, or so I thought

Having given a few of the vids a quick spin, gotta say massive thanks as ever to Ingo / exxile for the quality product, and all other posters of vids so far. Show Me, as it appeared to last night, just gets better and better. :notworthy:

Yep I watched it all, top marks Don for ignoring the s**t out them right up to the point of physical ejection  I did note as we wound our way down the packed tiny twisty staircases post-gig, that the venue itself appeared to constitute somewhat more of a health & safety risk than a wee bloke on someone's shoulders.

See you Tuesday!

Sadly not. Manchester is the only date I'm doing on this tour.
But everything being equal there will hopefully be a 40th anniversary tour in February.
I'll definitely be in Leeds for that and maybe one or two others.

Until next time then! In the meantime, if a recording of the gig surfaces, you're on the cover mate, courtesy of the ace pic in this thread 8)

Oh yeah I just remembered...

In the Nags Head pre-gig, did anyone else see the person dressed as Harry Potter? Or was I more off my head than I thought?

Well I didn't see him Mark, but in the jamboree of humanity that was The Old Nag's Head I don't doubt for a second that he was there. So I'd go with a 'no' to the second question.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
