"This one's gonna be a bit weird ... and it's got a slight touch of Bette Davis in it ... ...
Either way, either way, boys
That's what you do
Either way, either way, boys
That's what you do
heave away, heave away, that's what you do
heave away heave away boys
they were many we are few
...
in this space between. ...
there's no captain to you ...
we threw the line, ...(we did not even?)
they are many we are few?
heave away, heave away boys, that's what we do
...
throw the line we are not even?
throw the line (and we don't care?)
...
heave away, heave away
heave away heave away boys
they were many we are few

I think it might also be
Either way, either way boys
Heave away, that's what you do (too?) (or you two do?)
Love this song, I thought it was just "either way" repeated but "heave away" makes a lot of sense.

Hahaha, back at you - I posted a take on other part in the tabs thread.
well, there have been better plans
there is no space between us
there is no captain to guide you
we threw a line
we threw a ---
lead a way
lead a way boys
lead a way
that's what you do (they were many/we are few)
leave away
leave away boys
leave away
that's what you do (they were many/we are few)
there is no captain to guide you
we threw a line
we threw a ---
lead a way
lead a way boys
lead a way

I hear at least one “lead the way, heave away boys
Which goes along with the “until edit:this evil world is (not 100% sure)... I’m going to stop now until I hear a clearer recording 😄)and the last two lines with the island. I hear more to the captain line. And I could be wrong.

Lovely how the sentiment seems to echo First and Last and Always but this time in the plural including the rest of the boys.
At least assuming it's about the Sisters.

I'm still trying to work out how the (presumably) Theseus-inspired song title fits in with the lyrics
Here's what I'm hearing, from Bristol:
Watch the space between the stars
There is no captain until you do
Threw a line; we did not [?] it.
We’re all many; we are few.
I keep my fireworks on the bridge
Hold my crew from side to side
The world is skinny, well
The world is wide
We’re all many; we are few.
Heave away boys, heave away now
Heave away; that’s what you do.
I threw a line down; I did not need it [?]
We’re all many; we are few.
Thew a line – we did not heave it
They are many; we are few
There is a space between the stars;
There is no captain ’til you do
I keep my fireworks on the bridge (Heave away, heave away boys)
They were many; we are few.
Heave away boys; heave away now
Heave away - that’s what you do
Heave away boys, heave away now
They were many; we are few.
Watch the space between the stars
There is no captain until you do
Threw a line; we did not [?] it.
We’re all many; we are few.
I keep my fireworks on the bridge
Hold my crew from side to side
The world is skinny, well
The world is wide
We’re all many; we are few.
Heave away boys, heave away now
Heave away; that’s what you do.
I threw a line down; I did not need it [?]
We’re all many; we are few.
Thew a line – we did not heave it
They are many; we are few
There is a space between the stars;
There is no captain ’til you do
I keep my fireworks on the bridge (Heave away, heave away boys)
They were many; we are few.
Heave away boys; heave away now
Heave away - that’s what you do
Heave away boys, heave away now
They were many; we are few.

I've heard the B side is going to be called 'slack bail'.It's about a dodgy goth band who recycle and old tune and pad it out with some highlights of the Amazon series about pirates.
Seriously these boys seem so loved up they probably have a rugby style communal bath in the tour bus.

Goths have feelings too

BLACK SAIL (2020)
In the black between the stars
There is no captain till you do
We threw a line, we did not deep it
There were many, we are few
I keep my fireworks on the bridge
Hurl the crew from side to side
Unfurl the sail, the world is wide
There were many, we are few
Heave away, heave away boys
That's what you do
Heave away, heave away boys
They were many, we are few

Songs about nautical things or using metaphors thereof always float my boat Also enjoying another “we are few and far between type line.Charlie wrote:Confirmed lyrics from the website:
