Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

It's a pity Wikipedia only has a shiatty 315px thumbnail; Ghost records have great cover art.

Hellbound Glory's newest, Pure Scum. Recommended if you like your country music filled with gamblers, drunks, drug addicts, and other assorted lowlifes.

German folk/techno? I don’t know, really, but what matters is that after three months in lockdown I’m sitting in a beer garden rather than at home, drinking kölsch by the liter.

I was supposed to be spending June in Luxembourg (to see Neubauten), Zürich, and then visiting family in Lithuania and Ireland. Maybe next summer.

Been quite enjoying Slow Readers Club recently.

https://www.youtube.com/user/theslowreadersclub

Mancunian Indie with an electronic twist, with some proper big tunes.

"I saw a ghost" is amazing, and is probably one of their darker songs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubvvivI3Ifs

"Plant the seed" is also a bit of a spine tingler
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt20_t6moBg

and their new one "All I hear" is proper groovy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM0NHrGM_GM

Not so much late as rediscovering and re-appreciating, and delving deeper into their back catalogue :)

I think I may have seen them supporting one of the usual suspects around town, but confess i didn't pay them much attention. Did they sound similar?
