THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I like the little TSOM logo on the headstock. Nice axe.

Seriously... it looks like a parody of 80's pop metal.
hey, les pauls/SG's aside, all gibsons are much much uglier. and dylan would never offend mrs smith with tacky bubblegum-on-titty album covers (which is all the scorps had going for them before they sold out anyway IMO)
i did say "nice guitar dylan...can i have the firebird then please?" but i dont think i need to worry about making room for it yet...

looks like he's stringing it diferent to waynes though. husseys was double-strung (e and octave e, a and octave a etc ) whereas that looks like he's strung it eadgbe twice.

As a sad and pathetic old loser, ie. a sisters fan, it is interesting to see a newly built 12 string with a sisters logo on it. Like, why make this?
Possibly to revamp some of the older songs and play them with the same instrument they were recorded with? If so, that's a good thing as it means the live sound will be shaken up a little.
If it's to record, then that's even more interesting, as it implies a continuity of style with the first album and perhaps an acknowledging of that style being a hallmark of the sisters sound.
Or, you know, it could just be a blonde dude posing with a cheesy guitar.

I'm pretty sure it looks like it's strung like a standard 12 string, with the octave strings in each pair. Also apparently Wayne used to use standard tuning apart from using a unison pair on the G, instead of having the high octave string.
And the guitar looks exactly like a Revelation RJT60/12, which is their Jazzmaster style 12 string.
A couple of years ago I nearly bought an Aria Pro II RS-800-12 string like That Guitarist used to have. Unfortunately the bloke wanted a bit too much for it. And it's the only example I've ever seen in real life!

Does he take commissions?
