eBay reporting time again

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Warning: Newcomers posting here first will be treated like spammers. At least have the courtesy to say hello in General Chat first...

Yeah, this strategy has been going on for years. And those "key rings" usually sell for above 20 quid ...

At 8 GBP per go, maybe this adds up?

Absolutely.
Perhaps, the best strategy were that we all start selling Sisters bootleg CDs
on eBay and elsewhere openly and flood the market with recordings of all qualities ... ...

Galling that it appears one of our number is such a snake. Taking financial advantage of other people's goodwill is rather low.

Agreed. And much more galling than a concerted attack by any of the professional bootleggers. And history tends to show that "inside jobs" are usually smash and grab merchants whose name is everywhere then nowhere (baby) like in the weeding days or are non-posting members, the latter being harder to spot with our current sharing policies. Continued vigilance by True Heartlanders seems the best we can acheive at the minute. :(

That's if it is one of our number.
Don't forget, these particular recordings were on dime before they were here.
The best we can do right now is report to evilbay & keep a beady eye out here.
Location of one of those discs id Driffield. Anyone know any darklings in that neck of the woods?
Cheers.

There was a very recent upload on Dime that did not appear here if memory serves. Will be interesting to see if that appears too. Though that cat might be out of the proverbial now.

Is there a way of blocking access to Sharing for those members who have less than a certain number of posts? (say 10). That would exclude alot of the smash n grabbers.

:notworthy: was going to suggest something similar but couldnt immediately thi8nk of the best way. deffo needs doing. since i took a couple of shares down and asked members to PM for links at least 50% of requests have been from non-posting members...who can go fuck themselves . :von:
