when this game became a bit lost in translation and became the song title /band name /repetition game i took it upon myself to define the parameters.
hence the artist is irrelevant to the continuing link , it's just the words in the song title you can link. the linking word cant be the same linking word as the previous link;, nor can it be the definitive article or conjunctions except in exceptional circumstances. therefore a song title which cannot be legitimately followed due to nobody being able to think of one or due to -for example - it being a one-word title, the one word of which linked it from the previous song title is deemed a "winner" and the poster gets to start a new round. I quite like the "alternate" option where the above 'rules' get bent, or indeed creatively broken, to maintain the game as it gives us a laugh.
