Thanks guys. Probably a seasonal virus. Trouble is you hear so much about COVID that all the other virus's have disappeared and you get paranoid.
It's horrible. A cough or an ache makes you paranoid. But it might not be paranoia. Best wishes to everyone and their family.
I'm at the point of not-sleeping, panicking and boozing to death so I hope everyone is healthy.

It's so hard to read the symptoms - almost all of them could easily be something else. I veer from thinking I must have had it at the end of March (cold / cough that wouldn't shift, then a sudden wave of fatigue but ultimately nothing serious), then thinking I can't possibly have had it because while it was a big pain the arse it wasn't actually all that bad. If I was convinced that herd immunity would work, I'd be hoping that I'd had it. But ...elamanamou wrote:Just been tested today. Symptoms started a week ago with a Migraine and sore throat. Gradually as the week progressed, I had Fatigue that I have never experienced before. Luckily I haven't had all the classified symptoms. No temperature or cough and I still have my appetite! The sore throat has gone and I feel so much better today. Just a washed out feeling you get after not being very well or a hangover!! lol The Army give you a self testing kit and I should get my results in 3 days.
I just feel so grateful I feel well today
Glad to hear you've been feeling better, whatever the test shows.

That f**king bollock-headed moron of a Prime Minister is doing everything he can to confuse the public back into work, despite it not being safe, so he can just shrug and bluster and say "Not my fault" when we get another massive spike. What a turd.

I got tested a week ago. I haven't received my results yet. I guess I'm one of 50,000 who's sample's are being tested in the USA?
I read about that (although the Beeb didn't really make it easy to find). So much for the 100k capacity.elamanamou wrote:I got tested a week ago. I haven't received my results yet. I guess I'm one of 50,000 who's sample's are being tested in the USA?

One good thing to come from all this is that I've been able to learn a bit of sign language from watching the daily briefings here in Hungary

Positive news. I had a blood test for Glandular fever and it came out positive and not Covid I thought I had a couple of months ago.I'm much better. I just had a flare up a couple of weeks ago and that's when they decided to do a blood test. I've never heard of adults catching the "Kissing Disease"? I've only kissed the cats!! lol

my aunt passed away because of COVID 19.
she was only 62 and in very good health which just goes to show.
i am still f**king pissed off that people do not stick to the 1 1/2 metre distance. the amount of times i literally stop to let someone pass me by to keep the distance blows my mind.
even waiting outside the hospital when my son had his wisdom teeth pulled, he got dizzy i met him outside there was a guy standing also waiting but he started moving closer to me to see inside. i stepped back to create space between us but seriously? people can be so f**king ignorant and just do not think.

So sorry for that MadameButterfly
People don't understand or don't care or both about keep safe distance anymore and that's sad.
Saturday had to go to Super Market and an employee almost walk over me just to make 2 steps less while i was waiting in the counter

Very sorry to hear that, Debs ... : ... hugs and condolences from here. 62 is no age.
And there are so many people calling for a return to "normal", because they are just fed up
with being restricted personally and do not care for others.
I hope, a vaccine is developed very soon ...

People here are also driving me crazy.
The worst when you hear that are some M.D. that "don't believe" in covid-19, that is a hoax, or that is spread by 5G.

I don't know if you were wrong, but I fail to see the point of being right.
