Free To A Good Home

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

As I am shortly anticipating being "between homes" the following is available to anyone willing to collect it from Aberdeen.

Several hundred copies of 2000 AD (roughly 350 - 1200, minus the stuff I want to keep i.e. ABC Warriors + that Sisters issue), Judge Dredd Megazines and Best 2000 AD's.
The condition of some is quite poor but you can still read them and, really, that's what they're for!

Basically, it goes against the grain to simply throw them out.
So if you can collect them on or before March 23 they are yours.

Are there no records and comics fairs coming to the frozen north Eru?
They must be worth a few groats.

Some of them are, others, not so much.
Collectors tend to watch pristine condition.
It's more a question of timescales - I'm faced with having to put a lot of gear in storage and it's a case of cutting down and clearing out.

I suppose there is always e-bay...
But as I said, anyone on this forum that can collect and wants them...

  :D

Where do you live? I'd love a fair chunk of them (got up to about 700, just started again), though if you're anywhere near enough I'll merrily take the lot and deal with the spares meself.

Wow.

Oh balls, just read you're first post properly (you can surely forgive my eyes for glazing over and not taking it all in first time).

BALLS. Erm, Aberdeen's a bit far really. Chucking them out severely goes against the grain, so I hope someone can claim them. I very recently liberated all mine from me parents loft. Mmmmm, thrill power. :D :D

It's good to have a hobby. It stops you spending all your time thinking about sex.
Go to sleep now, Francis.
