I'll start with
I Brought a Girl Home
I brought a girl home once and she loved Scott
I saw her next week and I said naught
Many years later I loved him too
And have wondered since
If I had then
I'd be with you?
I brought a girl home once and she was fat
I brought her home twice, thrice, it was like that
Reliable she was, whatever her name
My maths teacher's daughter
My last ditch lay
I could count on her
I brought a girl home once who had no legs
To my fourth floor flat, just past Greggs
An accident, I heard from you
But later discovered
That heroin
Was what you lost them to
I brought a girl home once who had one paw
I didn't know until she was my squaw
Writhing in bed, my leatherette
And I wondered
About you
And Eastern bathroom etiquette
It's a work in progress. It's my "I Have Slept..." and all of it is true.

Almost all poetry is awful. The ability to rhyme 2 words does not a poet make. And if it doesnt rhyme its prose not poetry. . Doesnt matter how imaginitively you lay your prose out on the page. Insisting that its not prose proves you are a restricted & anally pretentious fucktard of the first water & unlikely to have scribbled out any "Rime Of Thee Ancient Mariner" lately.
limericks are about as good as it gets. so:
"there was a young man from Nantucket
whose dick was so long he could suck it
he said with a grin
as he wiped off his chin
if my ear was a cunt i would fuck it"

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

it wasn't the Goth
that carried him off
it was the coffin
they carried him off in
that carried him off
it was the coffin
they carried him off in
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
