It's a loooong time since I've listened to this. Normally when I listen to the Cult I go to Dreamtime or Electric, I really don't think I've heard this one in full since shortly after it came out. I have no idea what to expect, I wonder what I'll think of it.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

One of my favorite records of all time, actually, and discovered due to his playing with the girls. I was amazed to find it on CD in a used record shop in Dallas many years ago. It's aged well. I would have loved to hear a TSOM record with Chris.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

You just continually turn me on to good stuff
I am pretty sure that this thread and the Saving Country Music website are my only sources for new music these days.

I spend a fair amount of time looking for new music & I listen to a radio show on Tuesdays & Thursdays called PastFORWARD. The DJ plays lots of obscure 80's post punk/ new wave stuff mixed in with brand new music & I've discovered some amazing new bands via that show. He has youtube playlists of the stuff he plays too.sultan2075 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2021, 15:03You just continually turn me on to good stuff
