Re-re-run of currently watching

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

DJElectricDaddy wrote: 21 Jan 2021, 18:25 Really?!?! That would be awesome. I’ll check tonight. I’m on my own to finish the rest of the series. My wife and kid have abandoned me and given up on it. Never did see the Bridge but the same guy that recommended Valhalla recommended that too. Sounds good. Cheers for the tip, I hope it works over here. Can’t see why it wouldn’t
You've not seen The Bridge? :eek: :eek: :eek:
I'd say it (or at least the first 2 seasons/series) is probably the best drama ever. The Wire is up there - as is Caliphate but The Bridge edges it - Saga and Martin are just incredible.

Trivia time. The ARA General Belgrano had been, before the USA sold her to Argentina, the USS Phoenix and had survived the Pearl Harbor attack.

"It's A Sin" on Channel 4 / All4. A vivid , but timely, reminder of how 80's Britain was a different place.

Covid-19 and post-covid reconvalecense allowed me to catch up with some movies and sersie and refresh, so latelty i watched:
- Once upona time ... in Hollywood: good movie, I liked the tempo: in Cliff's not rushed manner, also final scene - it reminded so much Inglorious Bastards - pure ravange, something, we all (except some psychopats) wished would have happpened;
- started to watch Mr. Robot - i like it so far;
- new season of Disenchantment - ain't bad;
- The Wire - this was such a great series, so realistic (even my policeman bruder said that), so multilayers, with every one fine drawned character.

Yes correct. I’ll admit I never heard of him before this show. My wife grew up in 80s LA so remembers a lot of the events. It was all new to me.

Finally got around to watching twin peaks. As a big David Lynch fan, i'm surprised I've slept on this show for so long. Season 3 was crazy
