Burn 2004!

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

That's pretty cool! Nice one, and better than the Alice effort without a doubt.

What contribution did the DJX make to this magnum opus?

Bassline (WITH ribbon controller), strings in the back and the lead synth were created with the DJX.
Drum 'n' bass drumline is an assortment of eJay samples, as are the one or two sound FX I used.
And the vocals are of course the originals taken from SGWBM, krushed, killed and destroyed in Soundforge.

Can't wait for next year - Kiss The Carpet (Reprise) 2005!!! Should be a floor-filler.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

excellent stuff.

and quite amazing too -- who would think that a band who've released relatively so little would still have so much interest.

Very nice effort, though Eldritch is on record as being, er, underwhelmed with drum 'n' bass (even a comment on the official site.)

Burn, good choice!
