COVID-19 coronavirus

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Despite India-variant covid being identified as being here in Leicester there was a disturbing lack of masks in town today. fucking rat-licking scumbags.

Keep trying but if you have a hazi orvos, call them. You may discover that they have stocks that are reaching their expiry date & they'll tell you to get there so they can use it up.

That's the heart hospital not far from where I live.
Pretty sure they were real people.
The whole vaccine operation there appeared to be run by the military. There was a lady soldier at the door taking temperatures & asking the obligatory health questions & the jabbers were all army medics.
From door to jab took all of 3 minutes and then had to wait half an hour to make sure I didn't get sick from it in the quietest waiting room I've ever been in.
Every now & then a volunteer would put their head round the door & ask if everyone was okay.
Really well run. I booked the appointment on the Tuesday evening, downloaded the health questionnaire, went to the print shop in the morning to have it printed & the lady in there asked which file it was on my pen drive. I told her it was the pdf file & when she saw the file name she pulled the pen drive out, gave it back & handed me a copy from the pile they had already printed
Cheers.

Interesting that the promoter reports that 10% of the audience for today's trial gig at Sefton Park in Liverpool failed their Covid tests. It shows there is still a reservoir of the virus in the largely unvaccinated younger age range.

I had my second jab over a week ago, according to figures on the BBC news website, twelve days after the second jab my chances of contracting covid in the UK are one in one hundred and fifty THOUSAND. Happy with those odds.

Seems that here the government is insisting on vaccine "passports" to be able to go into bars & restaurants.
I knew they were issuing a vaccine card, as they took my address etc at my first jab. But didn't realise they were going to be used to gain entry to hospitality venues.
Hoping that's not going to be a forever thing
Cheers.

I am waiting now for a call from the house doctor. and then I need to find a way to get home relatively fast. I can only take Pfizer or Moderna beacause at this stage we do not know what will be allowed in other countries, especially the US. I hope they call soon enough. Also ready to move my base to Balaton for the summer

I'm just waiting for my second dose of Oxford AZ. I felt a bit rough after the first one so hopefully, the second jab won't be as bad.

Yeesh but did I feel ropey for a couple of days after my second Pfizer dose. I'm fine now though and a couple of days of lurgi is infinitely preferable to the Covid itself of course.

The Indian government, eager to stop misinformation that 5G is causing covid, points out that India doesn't actually have any 5G networks

My first dose of AZ make me quite poorly for a few hours, the second had no effect at all, so hopefully you will be okay.

I had my second AZ jab on Friday morning.

No adverse effects until this morning, when I woke up with a bastard headache and feeling really shaky. Eased off now and feel fine, but was rough earlier.
