Yesterday's VH1 friday rock show

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Long time since i watched this show, a loooong time, probably a couple of years, since they started playing nu rap metal stuff, but yesterday i did watch it and they actually played The Cult - Edie (i love that song) followed by Lucretia by you know who.

First time ever i saw The Sisters on the tv, watching that video reminded me how much i love them. Another highlight (at least for me) was Riders of the storm by The Doors.

These three songs were enough to make me happy for the night.

I watched it too and it was the best Friday Rocks I've seen :notworthy:
The Cult's Edie followed by Lucretia - that was the culmination of the show (there were also Ozzy-era Sabbath, Ramones and other good things before it) but right after Lucretia everything turned again to... OK, there was also The Doors later but I have to admit, this time I couldn't watch until the end of the show - didn't want to ruin the pleasant feeling given by the first half of the program.
Anyway, it was a great show 8)

@ Black Planet - there was also a band called Zodiac or something (in addition to Sisters and Cult)

Edie is a great song...as well are a host of other Cult tunes.
