Killing Joke

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Oooh, I'd be up for some of this.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Last time they were in Norwich, I ended up backstage with a nice cup of tea.

Baltimore sucks (I'll go!) but I wish they were hitting the 9:30 in DC instead.

Nobody (I like) really plays DC anymore. All the bands I dig play Baltimore instead. In many ways, I like Baltimore more than DC.

A band I've never seen but would dearly like to. I'll go to at least one of the dates.

i'm such a fussy ol' goff- i dislike KJ more than Borehaus or the joyless divs. i can name at least a dozen BH songs i like and at least 4 JD...i can actually only name 2 KJ songs but dont like either of them. :? -although the nirvava song which is sposed to have ripped one off is dead good.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.

I'm the same, never been a fan, never listened to them back in the 80's, it was Sisters/Neffs/Mish for me. As well as NMA/Swans/AAE and loads of Metal. Somehow never got around to listening to Killing Joke.

I prefer the drummy/tribal side of goth, which is a style the Joke have occasionally dabbled with, so I'm perfectly happy to indulge myself with them for a couple of hours in the hope of getting Pssyche, Wardance or something from Fire Dances.
