THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

It's 28 degrees here in London and for the first time i I'm considering going to a Sisters show in shorts...
It is 36 degrees where I live and I am having the hardest time packing! Looks like it will cool down over the next few days, though, so bring a jacket. (Especially if you’re still cold from Liverpool 2016...)
Pie 'n' a pint (or two) for Charlie and me sat outside the Brudenell here soaking up the late summer sun, followed by a walk through Burley Park back home, perfect prep for the weekend, though indeed looks like hoodies etc will be required by then. Currently we're trying to figure out how to avoid a slight case of overbloating at the weekend counting down the days, we most certainly intend to have a grand time see you at the next one Vanessa!

You Guys have a great time. Yes see you next time. Btw. A sisters Romance?
Looks like I'm not going. Got two tickets for Sunday night and am very happy for the band to get the cash. (I'd rather be giving it to them for records AS WELL as gigs and teeshirts, but hey, let's not go there.)
A combination of work commitments at home, the hassle of getting there from Dublin and the whole viral thing that's going around at the moment have conspired to keep me away. It's been a while since the last gigs, so I hope that the camera tech of those going is even better this time. Looking forward to Youtube on Saturday morning.
I'll miss you all but family comes first and I can't be too far away for too long at the moment. The Nephs are playing near me tomorrow and I'm going to that and have a houseful staying over after the gig. A quick overnighter to see them in Leeds on Saturday so still lots of fun to be had watching my joint favourite band.
We're looking forward to hearing all about it. Stay safe and fabulous x

I too am going to see The Nephilim at the Tiv. tomorrow night. Only a few miles away from me too.
Saturday sees me getting the train to London to catch The Sisters for two nights.
Should be one hell of a weekend.
If you seen a daft woman with a big smile on her face, come and say hello. I've got very long, black crimped hair - sorry, that could be over half of the audience The gold, Horus necklace usually gives me away. Anyway, I'm Laura
Stay safe all youse lot travelling down to that London or across to Buckley. Hope everyone returns with loads of memories and nothing more than a headache. See ya on the next tour or at t'Mish gigs in Spring.
....if I have to explain, then you'll never understand....
I'm hoping its not - "whisper / growl / shout / backing singers / pause" repeat, but the smoking has done its job on his vocal chords. Was poor in 97, awful in 98. Don't know what can be expected now. Such sadness.
