Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. I don't remember there being a concept of "winning" this when it started. Playing double-five doesn't win in dominoes, it just means the next player has to find a 5.

i tried to bring some semblance of "game" into it when i realised that people were ultimately just posting totally unrelated song titles/artists etc. if the last domino placed is unfollowable the next player knocks and picks up more dominoes. if you post an unfollowable song title you 'win' and get to start a new round, its hardly the fukken FA cup lol

Right but I don't get why single-word titles are an automatic unfollowable win. We allow the same word to be used as the connection in multi-word song titles.

For example earlier in thread: Hunting High And Low -> The Tide Is High -> Flying High Again

It Never Rains In Southern California -> Rain
could have been followed by "I Can't Stand The Rain"

On the other hand I may be massively overthinking this :lol:

I always thought that the linking word could not be used in a subsequent title, though this "rule" has rather fallen apart over recent years. I always favoured the artful "cheat" to get around game ending entries to prolong things.
