Yeah, just been listening to a couple of my favorite re-recordings of the sisters i put on a tape for the car and couldn't choose between two
Alice-from the side b of Under the Gun in 93 (i think) and Emma- From the b-side of the 12 version of Dominion.
Alice is fantastic and a lot more thunderous on this version although the "DON'T GIVE IT AWAY!.........NOOOOOO!!!" bit i miss. It's a real gut wrencher when on at Rockworld
Emma is the only studio version i've heard and i mentioned it coz i really love the Wake version, especially when he seems to fill up with tears on it. IT RULES!
Any classics i might have missed?

Alice 1993 was good purely for all the background effects and stuff that although not intrusive "fill in the gaps".
The only gripe I have about it is that the guitar line is played slightly different from the original.
I don't rate Emma from the Dominion 12". The Peel Session one was a lot better.
The original Body Electric is fantastic, the '84 version less so.

That's a mite strong Horizon, but I too like the original much better.Black Horizon wrote:I'm the other way around, I love the original but hate the remake. Ofra Haza sucks and I'm so glad she's dead.itnAklipse wrote:Temple of Love feat. Ofra Haza...i _hate_ the original, but love the remake.
