Since YT has been relentlessly suggesting the Dr Jeep filmclip, I've been watching it repeatedly and I can't help wonder: What's the clip in the Dr. Jeep filmclip with the bloke holding the Vision Thing album? Its intersected in the clip at a few different progressions.
It looks like it's an ad for the record, but is it real? Is there audio for it on the net if it is?

The person is PeeWee, he was a comedian at the time.
I’ve not heard of him for a long time.
I believe to remember he starred in the Cheech and Chong movies of the olde days.
I always thought they got PeeWee to actually hold the record. As he is mentioned in the lyrics.

OMG, this just got stranger than I expected.
Well, I was actually born the year that LP came out, however I do know vaguely of Pee wee and that incident, somehow...given that I'm not from the US.
In fact I remember him in Chech and Chong too: "I think they're Iranians!!"
So my question is, why the hell was Peewee advertising the Vision Thing album?? Or was this like super-imposed on original footage?
I can only assume you're right Icon, it was 'because he reads the evening news' (which I assume is a joke). So no one would have any idea what he would have been saying, no audio would probably exist....

I checked yesterday the imdb article about the video. A rather useful tool as all actors are listed in there whatever they do, even in cameo roles and at the cast is only the band members listed, none else. So Tony James is the candidate with the most percent. PeeWee is discarded as option cause if it was him, he would be there 99,99% and he is not.

Could be TJ, although he did spend most of that time period with aviators glued on so difficult to say.
There's at least one non-band performer, seen from behind and sitting in an armchair watching tv. Could just as easily be that guy..
