Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

'Heady Daze' due to be published in April 2023 according to a message from the m*****n.
Presumably it takes up the story from when Craig and him leave the Sisters in 1985. If it's anything like Salad Daze it should be a very entertaining read to say the least.

it also seems to coveniently cover up to the point i lost interest in them, stopped buying their records and last saw them live, basically around the time of the first World Crusade.

I put in my pre-order on t'Mish's site the moment I got the email.

I've got Paint My Name and Waiting For Another War and love them both. I'm not a Hussey/Mish fan and would love the inside track on the band but based on his lyrics, the idea of a book by Wayne (apologise Wayne fans) just seems unreadable.

Salad Daze was great, is essential reading!

I'm not a Wayne fan.
I give the Mish a pass for their first 2 singles, and if you put enough beer into me I might be coerced into admitting that Wasteland, Beyond the Pale and Deliverance are great songs, but I need to stop there.
Salad Daze is a brilliant book and you're doing yourself a disservice by not reading it. Wayne has a good writing style, it's packed with anecdotes and observations you won't get anywhere else, and it's coverage of the Liverpool post punk scene in his pre-Sisters years is particularly good. It's a great complement to the other 2 books, from someone who was actually there as it was all going down, and Wayne went way up in my estimation from reading it.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

You and me both... I guess I'll have to read this book then.
