Re-re-run of currently watching

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Two Doctor Strange movies. First was not bad, Mads and Cucamber did nice parts, with some glimpse of humor. Second was so painfully predictable with only the fight of tunes was nice part, and maybe the zombie.

What do you think about little Leya in Obi Wan? I would love to see her struggled by Darth Vader. Most annoying kid in tv series ever :bat: :bat:

the Lola (?) flying droid thing that's Leia's companion... Is it just me or is its profile suspiciously mouse-like? Have Disnae done that on purpose?

Well I really enjoyed Obi-Wan. far better than Boba-Fett. probaly up there with Rogue One in my opinion.

Now to binge Stranger Things 4 then see if we can help get The Banshees tp no.1....

First 4 episodes of The Sandman and I'm really enjoying it but it's been that long since I read it I'm not sure how faithful it is to the books .

Well now i could talk about how awesome 'The Sandman' is all night but i would rather carry om watcing it. All the little extas hes put in, all the little script tweaks are done really well. As ive losy count of the hundreds of times ive read the series in its entirety (by which i meaan the 75 issues & Special as welll as 'The Dream Hunters' -Graphic npt mini-series because i only got 'Overture; & 'Endless Nights' last month) i know every word of it in essence so i can vouch for the faithfulnes of the untweaked bits . its utterly bang-on.

standout for me so far (4 episodes in) is jenna Coleman as Johanna Constantine. She has nailed the essence of John Contantine better than a lot of writers ever have. When it comes JC's dialogue IMO only Alan Moore & jamie Delano ever got it right but everything about Johanna sits perfectly. The 'Newcastle' scene is fabulous.

Oh i naughtily -before i watched any of it properly- nipped ahead to check out Death & she's perfect. As soon as i heard her speak I was sold.

Hello this thread.

I know it's quite the fashionable thing to watch RRR but it really is properly entertaining and occasionally bonkers . And gruesome. And quite violent. With bromance and romance. And huge song and dance. All you need really.

I'd struggle to do it in one hit tbh but it is hugely entertaining.

Is good, innit? I particularly enjoyed hearing about the people who contracted trench-mouth.

Just finished watching Kleo. If you liked Deutschland '83, and/or Killing Eve, Kleo's like if they had a kid. Some Villanelle-stylee ultra-violence, lots of Trabants, and a decent sound-track.

I couldn't get on with The Rings Of Power. I got about ten minutes in to the first episode before having to be restrained from throwing things at the telly. Galadriel is not and never was a soldier.

I'm enjoying it. But I wish Merlin would hurry up and show up.
Cheers.

i have persevered with it, mainly though lack of having anything to watch , but it is interminably slow moving.

A bit behind the times but I finally caught the first episode of Andor. Looks like a bit of a slow-grower but worth persevering with I think.
