It was a freakin awesome show. Simply delicious gig.
Tiny but lovely venue (plenty of vantage points, efficient staff at a tap beer bar, even delivered food quickly to your table minutes before the gig started!) . Attrocious weather in Adelaide today, but it filled up, after we were left half in the rain at 7pm waiting for the sound check to finish. Alot of older fans but some bringing their families.
No support act. Sisters on just after 830pm. I got a lovely sound and vantage point to the left near the pa stack.
Pa had a clear, crunchy sound. Given the tiny stage I think they used a bit more smoke than usual, which made it seem a bit more smoky and like gigs of old. Band sounded tight, and awesome, even though the sound was small scale compared to the Enmore in Sydney... It was like having the sisters play in a big pub. Andrew was in happy mood and enjoying the fun novelty of a smaller place ,"well this is intimate isn't it". Set list same as Sydney. Before Alice "this one's for the nostalgists". After Show Me "I shouldn't be allowed to sing that". After main set "I'm having a cigarette ". Audience all looked like they were very engaged and enjoying themselves.
Davy and Ben and Dylan all out meeting fans after.
Enjoyed this one more than Sydney. Will cherish this one for a while. Glad I took the trouble of coming to Adelaide for the first time to see them in this smaller venue.
Have got a few phone pics, and set list sheet from the sound board, can post when I get home at the weekend.
See you in Melbourne for last show.

afew t shirts - international treasure tour shirt, "life is short and love is always over in the morning" green logo t shirt, and a couple of others.
That's all I remember
That one (and Afterhours lyrics shirt) since M‘era Luna Festival.
