I like them. A lot. Just thought I'd say that.
The song that made me their fan.
Any love for Ladytron?

First heard Discotraxx on a freedUncut magazine cd and loved them straight away. Definite peaks for me were Velocifero and The Witching Hour. Saw them live a couple of times too and they were fantastic

Well, new album and tour next year. Bought my ticket for the Glasgow show.
I'm a bit concerned by the overuse of that shimmering electronic alteration of Helen's voice in the three singles they've released from the new album. Yes, I know it's something of a trademark of theirs but it works best in moderation. I hope she doesn't sound like that throughout the new album.
I've seen Ladytron live twice. Live, Helen is kind of an ersatz Siouxsie. She does have that 'evil eye' i.e. you dare not make eye contact as you wouldn't with the real Siouxsie as anyone who has seen the real Siouxsie live will attest to.
(I have touched the real Siouxsie's fingertip though. Glasgow QM, Boomerang tour. Guy next to me was fondling her knee and she didn't seem to mind.)

Fell in love with them when i saw them support NIN.
Saw them at the Astoria twice… well, 1.5 times cos their equipment broke down first time (happens to the best of us, ha ha)
New album is very good but they’ve yet to beat Witching Hour, that’s a stone cold classic imho.

Well, she did once have a nasty onstage accident that dislocated one of her knees. Long before this but if it was that knee then maybe it was still a bit dodgy and she appreciated the impromptu physio session."Guy next to me was fondling her knee and she didn't seem to mind." Classic!
