The Beiderbecke Affair

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Which is quite understandable.

Pretty cool actually.

That's the one. Not sure what made me think of it apart from all the noticeable Leeds locations. Anyway, I even bought one of Bix's albums on the strength of the soundtrack.

Indeed. Wasn't the first one mid 80s and the second early 90s, cos from what I can recall, my personal circumstances had changed dramatically in between.

Nah, keep submitting without checking. Hopefully it brings a smile to some folks' faces as the tumbleweed blows through Heartland on a dreary monday afternoon ...

Hell, if you're really considering coming all the way up from Norfolk to see the Smurphs on Saturday, I think it's the least I can do.

i AM considering it. its getting mr strange to drive me there.... its harder to get him to do things. he's immune to my blandishments sometimes.
i'd come on my own but need to top up brownie points after two darkness gigs and a trip to paris in one week.

Mrs T would be nodding her head if she were reading this. She's only letting me out to play this week cos I've promised to block up the hole in our fireplace which has been there since we had our central heating replaced last Autumn.

It's not as bad as it sounds. There's a bit of plaster board in front of it. But she spends all day watching UK Living and wishing she'd married someone who's a bit more convincing with a drill.
