Crystal Canyon just knocked it right out of the park with Judy Moody.
Strong contender for single of the year for me. Wow!

Stumbled on this about 90 minutes ago, and I'm about to start my second listen-through of the album. I was hooked after 30 seconds. Some of y'all will probably like it as much as I do.

So... it's a gloomy, rainy day here in Mordor-on-the-Potomac, and unseasonably cool. I'm sitting in my office on campus grading papers, and this is the perfect accompaniment. It's such a great record.sultan2075 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2023, 15:00 I just stumbled across this entirely by chance, and it is one of the greatest things I've ever heard. The title doesn't do it justice - phenomenal playing, it's simply beautiful. It's "late night, all alone, with the lights down low and a bottle" kind of music I guess. Not background music either - I find it completely absorbs my attention.

And I knew the words to every song.

"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Really love this band! I wouldn't say that they are that similar musically to the Sisters (otherwise I'd probably just be listening to the Sisters), they're more jazzy, metal, and experimental at times, but they do have that intangible essence and vibe that makes them great.

An absolutely staggeringly good capture. Could easily be official
Enjoy it. Ignore it. Roll eyes at it. Be reminded by it. I remember my boyfriend playing at the time this for me. To Memories!

....move it to the 'Currently Getting into the Groove to' thread where it undoubtedly belongs? The song is OTT ridiculousness at its most overbombed, totally beyond reproach.

I ussed to hang out with a band who did this song so well. Just out of nowhere for their playlist.
