Eight years since they last played Glasgow.
Twenty years since they last played the Barrowlands.
Final night of the tour.
There's a weight of expectation here.
What could possibly go wrong?

Jeez I'd best lay off them ciders
we will steal what we cannot buy when all is stole from us
European Tour Shirts were not available in London. Any good soul willing to pick up one for me at upcoming shows? Of course I will pay for shirt and shipping.
I'd appreciate it.

To be fair...it was originally scheduled for Wednesday. Then it was changed to bigger venue on Thursday
So cider not entirely to blame
I have seen The Sisters at The Paradiso. I will die happy
With massive thanks to Ruffers for his company and help.
A girl is never too old to wear a Sisters tshirt!

You might want to post this in the Glasgow thread in the 2023 section, that's the last gig this year before the handful of rescheduled ones next January.
Failing that, hopefully any surplus stock will be on the website soon.

We're off to our local to ruminate and contemplate, and drink to, all we have seen and done over the last week. Which was plenty, and always brilliant. Wishing everybody attending, and the band(s) and entourage, a fittingly stonking night in Glasgow tonight. Cheers to you all

The final show of a tour bringing an amount of surprises hardly ever seen during a Sisters tour before ... now party hard everybody over there and enjoy this last gig for a while ... ...
Well that was simply f**king outstanding. I've not heard Von's vocals so strong since 2006. Overall sound was superb. Night and day from the Saturday night at the roundhouse.
Only "surprise" in the setlist was playing ToL as part of the main set then only two encores. Maybe Chris hit "play" by accident.
VirginMarys also excellent again, and onstage for the encores (for which the girls all wore VirginMarys shirts)
Tour shirts sold out before the sisters came on stage, hopefully available on t'interweb shop at some point.
What a brilliant night! Sisters in top form! Caligula and On the Beach my favs. I did give in and buy a hoody. I can save on something else is my rationale. But enjoyed myself thoroughly and nice to see the usual nice people!
