Swing by the Bar (Pub) at Midnight

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

It’s been a slow day, and now it’s time for “something fast.” The latest entry in the catalog of drinks is the Ass (Arse) Burner. Ingredients? Although they can vary, the present incarnation is tequila, orange juice and hot sauce (Tabasco). That’ll fix ya. And guarantee a long line to the toilet. What do you ask the barkeep to make for you? Any preferences?

I like the moxy on that one. I'm old school. Dark rum and coke. And a bit boring I think by my choice.

At the pub? Probably a Magners. If it's a proper cocktail bar, I'm partial to a negroni or anything spiked with jalapeño. I also think a truly good margarita can be a thing of sublime beauty (I know of only one in DC - at a Chinese restaurant of all places).

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.
