THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. Yeah, but I reckon @headcleaner2k point isn't on AI lyrics, but on AI Vocals (train a model with all the studio material, interviews, etc etc), record a vocal track yourself, and then use the model to replace your voice by Von's voice.

We don't need an AI Eldritch, we already have the Merry Thoughts! Plonkers on youtube already get them mixed up :D

Mind you, if you listen to their song Low Violet, the similarity to Von is IMHO pretty remarkable...

I know their lyrical depth doesn't reach the heights of Eldritch's writing, but man I would take another MT album or something, some of their songs are pretty good.

Since The Merry Thoughts are from my hometown, it's worth mentioning that they renounced being similar to the Sisters on purpose as often as AE denied leading a Goth band ;-) tMt are not active anymore, and dearly missed.

Dang that's unfortunate but not unexpected (that they aren't around anymore.) Hopefully they could come back together some day especially since Goth music is having a bit of a revival as of late.
