Search

For you to give feedback to the Heartland moderators. Wish lists, fault reports, etc. You may get an answer, you may not. As in all things, it largely depends on how nicely you ask the people in charge... You're welcome.

I also got this message , I wander why the average load is that high.
The online list reveals a pretty high guest counter (~170 during the last 5 mins).

It might help if you disable the search feature for guests, one might try this at least test-wise and monitor the load again.

For what it’s worth, I’m still getting the high server load message when searching for new posts even though there are apparently only two of us online.

Until quiffy gets around to it we'll need to muddle along.
It's severely hobbling our admin efforts too, so does need fixing.
Cheers.

something weird happened at 10:42 am this morning that caused the cpu to max out again, thus triggering the forum to disable it's search (it does this automatically to help alleviate stress on the server when it sees its struggling)

it randomly fixed itself a few days ago, and returned to normal for a few days, until it went pear shaped again this earlier this morning
