I’ve had the debut full-length by the Mary Wallopers on heavy rotation lately. Recommended if you like the Pogues or the Dubliner or just have a thing for questionable fashion choices:

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

Burial's latest "Antidawn" was very good IMO. Then again, Burial always delivers.TheDarkInstall wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 09:31 I find myself just sitting in various Youtube channels themed around niche genres.
Untitled Burial is the one I go back to the most at the moment. Witch House and the surrounding genres is the order of the day. 90% of it is s**t, but when it hits the mark it is unholy.
I listen to a lot of ambient livestreams too, like CryoChamber, Iron Cthulu Apocalypse, and State Azure.
This live rooftop DJ performance might be something for you:
If you like the CryoChamber stuff I recommend some Miles To Midnight for example...
IZ.
I stumbled across Ming City Rockers today.
For anyone who fancies getting rowdy,
The album's up for a "name your price" deal on bandcamp.

It's not a new discovery, but I amreally digging the three tracks that have been released off of the Queens of the Stone Age record that drops tomorrow.

And whaddya know, they ended up covering DominionLyanvisAberrant wrote: ↑09 Apr 2022, 11:35 This is a dreamlike fusion of simple but effective lyrics and music. Very dark, very political, and very pointed.
Honestly, past year or so, I've discovered so many incredible bands that I've began to realise that the best things in music are always happening right now.
A man with a fictitious grin pondered the terrain in which he flooded with anguish, for this is England. The lion cannot be tamed, this is the game.
New for me at any rate. Cari Cari.
If a bit of psychedelic/ garage is your jam, then take a ride through their youtube channel. It's a thing of wonder
The new single is (i think) bloody amazing
Also worth looking at the various live sessions on the YT too. Watch out for didgeridoo solos

This one song by this band is definitely an ode to the Sisters.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
