New music discoveries

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Fontains D.C. first time listened them on the radio driving a car, the latest single (Starbuster), I've found production, sound, and this lyrics. Then I started to dig. Superb stuff, lots of genres you know from the late 80's and 90's, and some post-punk but filtered and served in a unique way. Anyhow, the band active for more than 10 years, going to release their 4 full record. But for me it's a sign that new bands, formed by, well, Gen Z, can be interesting, in some way fresh.

Oh yeah, I quite like them - looking forward to seeing them live on this upcoming tour.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

I’ve also liked them for a few years. Still haven’t decided if I’ll go see them in the autumn. It’s tempting, but quite far to travel.

Incredibly exiting things happening in london. This is proof.
A man with a fictitious grin pondered the terrain in which he flooded with anguish, for this is England. The lion cannot be tamed, this is the game.

This lot were recommended by Julianne Regan & if you like your gaze a bit Cocteau-esque, you can't go wrong here

Twilight Sad, listened online and fell in love. Ordred "It won't be like this all the time" album.

Found this lot this morning. Don't know much about them other than they're from Tokyo. But this single is a riot

Not a new discovery more a re-discovery of Essential Logic. Saw them with Penetration in Manchester last Thursday and they were superb. Working my way through their stuff again-so far damm fine.
