Crossroads present ... The Sisters of Mercy ... at least not with that terrible band photo, but ...   ...
SMOKING: Lighters are not allowed in the venue and there is absolutely NO SMOKING OR VAPING allowed per the city of Boston Ordinances. Any smoking or vaping will result in IMMEDIATE EJECTION from the event.
For tickets with ticketmaster join the queue ... Availability and pricing are subject to change. Resale ticket prices may exceed face value. And first of all create a ticketmaster account ...

Oh my... let's see where that leads to. Maybe the same terrors as last year when musicians like Robert Smith had to interfere with certain pricing policies and fan rip-offs..  ... Here's still hoping for the best, though ... ...

I paid $325 for a seat. About 298 Euros

I don’t think all the cash is going to TicketMaster 😳.
A general admission ticket is quite reasonable.

I was going to be headed to Boston for the gig, but my wife’s horse had other ideas and as a result I’m stuck at home looking after her (my wife, not the horse) and I’ve one ticket up for grabs - I think I paid about $80 for it but I’m open to offers …

Valid offers could include “I’ll buy you a beer some time” …

Would someone going to the Boston gig do me a favour? I promised someone a Scar The Planet Edge t-shirt from last night's NYC concert but (put it down to a surfeit of electric lemonade) I bought the wrong ones. If a nice person could pick up 2 shirts (1 large, 1 medium) and pop them in the post to me I'd be delighted to reimburse them. I'm after the one with the orange graphic and the tour dates on the back.

PM me and we can work out the details. Thanks in advance!

They sound great - better than in many, many years. Also, very nice new arrangements, and Kai's fitting in much better.

Just worried that they have lost the main songwriter behind this sudden rejuvenation. While Kai is a decent guitar player, judging from his output, he doesn't seem like a strong songwriter. Pity they can't rope in Dylan just as a songwriter

The last time I saw Von anywhere near that kind of vocal form was way back at the 1997 Philly show at the Electric Factory.

Truly enjoyable show at Fenway, Von was actually going for some high notes -- for a moment, I actually thought he might break out "Comfortably Numb."

But the lyrics were clear instead of grunted and muddled and the tunes were crisp and chiming. The sound was almost pristine.

The crowd really roared appreciation for "On The Beach," "Summer" and "Don't Drive On Ice," all of which was good to hear.

Someone get this guy into a recording studio! Overall, I never thought I'd see a dynamic Sisters show like that one again.
