Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
I've been lurking for a while now so I thought it was time to write a post saying hello and introducing myself. I'm a Scots guy living in Singapore and I've been a fan of the Sisters since the mid 80s when I moved to college and fell in with a crowd that introduced me to the wonders of Tune In Turn On Burn Out t-shirts, pointy Chelsea boots, cider and black and of course The Sisters Of Mercy. Favourite track is probably Burn, and probably the Kid Jensen version while we're at it. I'm enjoying the new songs a lot and this has pushed me to frequent this place a bit more.
I think I will know a few of you. I'm pretty sure my friends Salwarpe and Kid Dynamite from The Afterword site will be posting here under some name or other (I also of course knew your ex-comrade James Blast from that site).
As the web site says, I'm here anyway. So hello everyone, and hope you're having a good day.
Sounds just like me apart from Scots, and Singapore. Oh, and re Burn. And The Afterword site. Never mind, pointy Chelsea boots, cider and black and the Sisters should do for now (or then anyway, my feet can't manage pointy Chelsea boots any more!)
Thanks folks. I should point out that I don't wear pointy Chelsea boots any more. In fact, I stopped wearing them around about the time that the Berlin Wall came down, although I believe the two things were not related.

But how do you know for sure?
Welcome, regardless.
