THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.
Mrs ruffers somewhat amazingly got me a Merciful Release bespoke brass ice stamp. Rest stamp on ice and what do you get?
My cocktails will never be the same...
Paint My Name In Black And Gold - just finished it, spectacular, thank you to everyone who made this possible!
BBC Sessions 1982-84 LP
Floodland MoFi LP
The BBC Sessions (which I'd listened to many times before but not ever sounding this stunning, pristine and beautiful) and Paint My Name... AND Waiting For Another War finally... all of which I wasn't able to get around to during the Pandemic sadly, but better late than never. On the hunt now for new Sisters T-shirts.
Violet __________ All your children here
In their rags of light
In our rags of light
All dressed to kill
And end this night
If it be your will

though if that presents too limited a choice (which of course it does) there's some pretty cool unofficial shirts on ebay from US sellers these days.
Does anyone know if there are sellers that sell Sisters T-shirts for kids? My son is 6, and I reckon it's about time that he experienced the feeling of walking around with a Merciful Release logo on his chest.

Not officially, I made one for my kid when he was 1yo based on some vectorized art I've done a decade ago and sent it to Zazzle for printing.

Your designs are very good; do you do anything customised if asked?

I haven't designed anything in years, but I would never say no to a fellow heartlander request
