Where are you off to? Enquiring minds need to know

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Quick update from Phil Campbell & His Lad's 50th Anniversary of Motorhead gig at Leeds Warehouse tonight - fkng marvellous :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: as is by now traditional, @Charlie rocked like a motherfkr from the first note to the last and as a direct consequence seemed to have more than half the set sung directly to her. As good a Motorhead gig as any of the Motorhead gigs I saw, which is to say f**king brilliant 8) :notworthy:

edit : also worthy of note, support was by Kim Jennet, caught half their set, which was very decent rock / metal when playing their own tunes, and absolutely nailed the gig closer with a magnificent belting out of Immigrant Song :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: they've set a high bar for Letz Zep at the Brudenell next Friday 8)

We got super-lucky, other than some folk on the Metallica forum I don't know anyone who managed to snag tickets, just lots of people who tried and failed. I know how super-lucky I was the minute I was thrown into the first tuesday morning presale queue and had a mere 909 people in front of me. Tickets were in the bag 6 minutes later.

Very pleased that I finally landed a "reasonably priced", standard ticket to Nick Cave today, so my concert going itinerary so far for 2025 is as follows:

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - April 23 - Meridian Hall, Toronto

The Sisters Of Mercy - May 25 & 26 - Roundhouse, London UK

Simple Minds w/ Soft Cell/Modern English - June 18 - Budweiser Stage, Toronto

The Psychedelic Furs w/ The Chameleons - July 4 - Casino Rama, Orillia

Nine Inch Nails w/ Boys Noize - August 23 - Scotiabank Arena, Toronto
