Sisters reference in Popular culture

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

In case you thought this was a joke, it's not. At least not on my part. Mr Fiend, on the other hand, is a notorious prankster. If you're interested, let me know. PM me if you're feeling a bit bashful/ want to know what might be involved. I'll be incommunicado from Friday to Tuesday tho', so don't be offended if I don't get back to you straight away.
Go to sleep now, Francis.

Who, me? Prankster?

No, I am actually seriously considering applying for Mastermind. I need a couple of other "specialist subjects" though.

About the very same question was asked on VH1's Rock and Roll Jeopardy years ago. I'm new, so if you know this already then sorry.

*Update*
Thank you for your interest in the new series of Mastermind.
Unfortunately we have just reached the end of our application process for this series, but if you would like to fill in the attached forms and return them to us, then we'll keep them on file until next series and will consider them then.

Thank you again for your interest.

Best wishes
It will have to be next year then.
