What's for sunday dinner?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Do you use to cook something special for sundays?

I always like to eat something good on sundays. Even more that suterdays, really.

So I have a steak (or do call it roast) in the owen now. With potato etc. Yummy. Can't wait.

I also love to go to my parents for sunday dinner. My mother cook so god food. But it only happens 3 or 4 times/year.

Yes, Lamb roast with all the trimmings. The one time per week when we eat a balanced meal. :D
Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,
Which is quite understandable.

Well im not allowed in the kitchen today as it's mother's day. So i have absolutely no idea what concoction is evolving! I can hear my daughter's arguing tho - ho hum!

On a 'normal' sunday we have something really easy as it's our 'chilling out' day. Neither myself nor my man are big roasty fans so we usually avoid that!

All this talk of food is making me hungry!! Off to the kitchen i trot.........

T' in-laws are coming round, but they're ace so that's okay.

Pumpkin Soup, cooked by yours truly, followed by Roast Chicken with Roasties and other fab veg. Some pud or other for afters. Don't do afters.

Can't wait, in fact I'm off to cook the soup reet now.
If you were asking my opinion then I would say delete that.

Them pies actually Vegan? My housemate is Vegan which pretty much makes me veggie (apart from when I leave the house!), if I can turn her into a pie eater that would make me happy!

Quite possibly, but as they taste like old washing up sponge marinated in Bovril Quiffy's welcome to 'em.

Sainsbury's Quorn & Mushroom pies, that's what you want (probably not vegan, mind you).

A Chicken Filo Pie from a Jane Asher recipe

Made by the Mum, to die for....

BTW Ms. Asher looked like this at one time

Aaarrgh. All this good food. It never happened for me this weekend.

A big chinese on Friday night was the highlight. Saturday I managed a KFC (I'm sorry, it won't happen again) outside Reading's Madejski Stadium, and a bag of Jelly Babies while driving the love of my life from Heathrow to Cambridge. Wouldn't mind, but I live in bloody Southend!

Sunday was: one snickers bar, one Vitamin C tablet, four biscuit (two bourbon, two chocolate digestive), one ham & mustard sandwich from a filling station in Barking, one bag salt & vinegar crisps (ditto) and a double decker, plus a few glasses of water. And I was working for 13 hours. Battery hens are better nurtured than me.
