Peter Saville exhibition at URBIS / Manchester

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

oh my god

and just how cool was that?

al kinds of wonderous artwork, along with the inspiration for a lot of the pieces & the source material!! :notworthy:

- the leaf from true faith
- the radiograph thingumy from unknown pleasures
- the metal plate from brotherhood
- the original work that inspired movement
- etc etc etc etc

:notworthy:

was quite an awe inspiring exhibition!! not massive, but its quality over quantity isn't it? 8)

its only on for another couple of weeks (16th april i think?) so if you are around manchester any time before then, drop in! you won't be sorry :)

I went to the National Portrait Gallery on Saturday and there was a photo of Peter Saville in one of the exhibitions. Something to do with people in industry I think...
Not as impressive as the real thing though.

I've always wanted to check out the Urbis thingy, and this is the perfect excuse.
