FALAA logo

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

More apologies if this has been discussed, but...

...does anyone know the score re. the circley thing on FALAA? Does it have any significance or meaning? Am I sad for being even remotely interested?

The answer to the last question is yes. I need help with the other one. Cheers.

The lady with the 'nips', otherwise known as nips, is Leititia Casta, a model, and a rather fetching one at that. Though if truth be told, it was the image as a whole, in particular the MR cog similarity, which caught my eye. Honest.

Well spotted ATG. For a bonus point, WTF has it got to do with either

a) the FALAA logo

or

b) Leititia Casta?

May we presume Red has found a new virtual friend, courtesy of internet image-search engines? Awww, that'd be lovely.

Dave :notworthy:

I guess "Red Sunsets" is saying that he is happy! ;D - I also think that it has more to do with B) than A) - or perhaps Both!

Red sunsets or sunrises? See the the logo at the top right of www.kugb.org

What does it signify? well in that case Japan, land of the rising sun. Maybe some kind of black planet, in the case of FALAA?

I dunno.

At the risk of stating the obvious, it was on the cover of Walk Away:

I had always assumed it was just a pictorial reference to the fact that the 12" came with a 7" flexi-disc. Or was that itself a reference to whatever symbol this is? It doesn't pay to think about these things too much. But I'm trying to be helpful. Insulting people is much easier but ultimately less satisfying.
Go to sleep now, Francis.
