Okay, maybe not dead...how about...band with a long, long overdue album and a long suffering, dedicated fanbase.
Wait a minute, Von beats Guns in terms of not delivering new product recently...geez.
Like I said...at least there's bootlegs!
will Eldritch ever declare the death of TSOM?
Is it possible to like both GNR and TSOM? I know there's a few people even here on HL who do like both, even though the two seem so totally different from each other at first glance.
What do you people think? What do the two have in common? I'm seriously asking this, in terms of the more in-depth similarities than just not delivering new products or having problems with their singers.

At first glance, I thought Slash and Hussey had a lot in common, lookwise._emma_ wrote:even though the two seem so totally different from each other at first glance

The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

I'm truly sorry for any offence caused Black Planet.Black Planet wrote:I think I'm going to be sick.
But...
The hair...
The cheekbones...
The pasty white face...
Ask yourself this: Have Andrew Eldritch and Michael Jackson ever been photographed together?
Surely this in itself is suspicious...
Seriously though BP - console yourself that Von's voice is a deep sexy growl, while Jackson sounds like he's caught his jewels in a mangle.

Father smiscandlon, can I confess?
I accidently caught the tale end of some old pharts video collesction show on vh-1 the other night (Paddy recommended the program after it, go figure).
Anway, I saw Cliff Richard's video for 'Wired For Sound'.
Deeply disturbing, but he was a proto Mr. E and on wheels!!! I have searched the web in vain for proof, none I could find.
It did happen tho.... what are you backing away?
No, come back, I've got wine and stuff.....

gnr and tsom make very different music, but i guess you could say they are 2 bands that have always been totally committed to their music (so much so they can take years to release an album). Yet they are both bands that many people probably laugh at. Love them or hate them kind of thing.
I like them both anyway!
Anyone seen that site where they compare eldritch to a number of different people, including michael jackson - they look eerily simlar!
