Well, for me anyway the future looks brighter!!!
For those interested, try the Firefly box set. Why this was cancelled ill never know.... but due to the huge groundswell of support and big DVD sales, WB Have given the go-ahead for a feature film!!! and a renewed series could follow. This is seriously some of the best Drama/Sci-fi ive ever seen and didnt need to settle from the pilot.... great and comfortable from the off, origional, characters you like and the brilliant witty dialogue. SFX and Empire have given the all episodes box set full marks!!!

also the new Battlestar Galactica !!!
What a shock that was. Dark, gritty and just the right balance of old and new. All this and Edward James Almos as Adaama. The miniseries is available now, 13 episodes commissioned and Richard Hatch (Apollo from the origional) has signed up for a reccuring role! Wait till you see the new Cylons too!

and Boomer and Starbuck are birds!!! what the ********
I loved Battlestar how can they remake it? guns on the ice planet was a classic, not only episode wise but the book was brilliant, written from the Cylones point of view
but Padstar, I'll buy the series on your say so.
