Rhombus + Grinn, May 16th, The Classic rock bar, Sheffield.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi,

Well after the last gig its seems the venue were suitably impressed, so much so infact the asked us back the next month to play in the main room!!! So, please try and make it if you can :)

Remember.... Rhombus are goth, but good... VERY good :)

and Grinn.... well, we like to bounce around and widdle a bit ;)

See you there,
Paddy.

I think it's located in the region known as 'Oop' Burn :innocent:

Naaah, that's about 35 miles north up the M1 from Sheffield ;)

Something like that. But I don't go there after it was taken over by the evil that is Walmart ;) Prefer Morrisons on Kirkstall Road.

But I was thinking of somewhere a little closer.

Looking forward to this, big time!

Not least 'cos we've been cooped up in the studio. Grinn are gigging in Wakefield the night before so this is the perfect way to end a rock n' roll weekend.

...we've even got a big gay laser that 'makes shapes' in low-light conditions (not to be confused with Scardy 'making shapes' on his big g*th guitar!)

...and has Paddy changed the fuse in the big Smurph smoke machine after it went on strike in Crewe after being out-g*thed by Paddy's extreme on-stage fret-w*nking (not my term, by the way...)

...and does the attendance of DJ Penger (of Wishville fame) mean that the likes of Abba will be removed (please!) from the playlist in favour of perhaps a bit of Chameleons - Second Skin or Swamp thing would be nice... ta...
