Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
congrats!
i'm not married but my friend glen got married last summer and he had to dance to a mariah carey song with his new wife which was quite amusing as he is a hardened goff! but it was nice to see him happy at last, had alot of trouble with some women..
congrats all round
who's been together the longest, then?
I put my bid in at 17 yrs......
can i just point out that this is also 17 yrs withought respective parents having met. of which we are justly proud.
Me and Mrs Wolf have been together for 11 years, we got married 6 years ago...the plan was to have the first Dance to Nick Caves "The Ship Song" at our wedding bash (hosted at the Molineux!!) but the DJ screwed up the CD, so we used "LA Rain" by the Rose Of Avalanche.
Note - Mrs Wolf likes "glam Rock" (cough!!)
Note - Mr Wolf likes "TSOM etc etc"
I hope you have much happiness for years to come.
My record is seven years. I'm in the slowly getting back together phase with the same chap.
I truly admire people who have been together for many moons,it's lovely to see happiness.

I wish you many more years of love and undisturbed hapiness.
Me, I've been with the same bf for about 14 years now. That's exactly a half of my life.

Was.
but on the up side, you could bump into tomorrow and live happily ever after. Or even a look alike.
I have been married since 1998. During the wedding ceremony, my father (a classical pianist) played a few pieces on the piano. After something by Liszt, I think, he performed 1959 with the best sheet music of the song which I could find online. To be honest, it was far from the best playing which he has ever done (he had time to practice it only once), but the fact that he did play it was cool. Some in the audience looked at each other with amusement when they realized what he was playing.
I just heard from an old work colleague today, yup, in the middle of divorce.
95% of my friends are, no wonder I've stayed single, plus I like my toys too much.

There's plenty of much worse things that could happen. Cancer, multiple sclerosis, car accidents that leave you seriously injured, grave poverty, war near your home, earthquakes, tornadoes, and so on, and so on. In comparison, divorce seems quite a cool thing to experience . There I've cheered myself up.
