whenever I stay in Leeds I usually end up at the Comfort Inn (used to be the Griffen) not too bad, no food but there's a decent greasy spoon cafe opposite :D oh and there's normally a nutter in there as well :eek: apart from me that is :wink:

Could our Northern Soul Sisters (Derek R, Smiscandlon, Big Si and 2 more) club together for a car rental (I'll drive, I'm usually too drunk to sing) and sort out (separate) beds for the night?

PS. are sunglasses not only after dark, but all the time OK?

Well, if it saves me "£35 and an 8 hour bus journey each way, or £70 and a 6 hour train journey each way" then count me in!

Oops. I'm gonna have to retract my offer of a place to stay (face it, and it's a place to stay...except it's not anymore) as my darling missus (remember her) reminded me last night of a prior engagement on the Saturday. Just remind me people, why DO we get married. I honestly have no idea. :?

On the plus side, I'll now definitely be going to The Smurphs on the Sunday. Power in the face of adversity, and all that.

yep, its the bassment. owned by the same people, but its a bit bigger and has more tonnes atmosphere. ikkle stage though :roll:

but they are allowed smoke machines the bassment... they cant have them at the phono anymore due to fire risk in the shopping center above! :lol: :urff:
