One for Mr Whelan

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Sing to the tune of Queens Bohemian Rhapsody

Is this the real life-
Is this just fantasy-
Leeds in a landslide-
No escape from reality-
Batter your wife,
sh * g sheep and cry and weeeeep
you're just a poor club, you've got no sympathy
Because you're easy come, easy go,
flying high, now you're low
Leeds are going under, doesn't really matter to me,
To me

Ridsdale, you've killed the club,
Put a goldfish on your desk,
spent too much, but now he's dead,
Ridsdale, life had just begun,
But now you've gone and thrown it all away-
Leeds Scum, ooooooh,
makes me laugh to see you cry
If your team has gone bust this time tomorrow-
Carry on, carry on, cos nothing really matters-

Too late, their time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine-
can't stop laughing all the time,
Goodbye Leeds United - you've got to go-
Gotta leave the premier league and face the truth-
Leeds Scum ooo
I want to see you cry,
I bet that little lad on tv wishes he'd never been born at all-

I see a little shadow of a team,
Munich Songs,
Munich Songs,
but your club are going under-
Smithy to United-very very frightening me-
Peter Ridsdale, Peter Ridsadale
Peter Ridsdale, Peter Ridsadale
Peter Ridsdale, magnifico-oh oh oh oh oh

you're just a poor club and nobody loves you-
your grandad is your father, keep it in the family
spending your cash on some monstrosity-
Easy come easy go, will you let me go-
Seth Johnson! no-,we will not let you go-let him go-
Seth Johnson! we will not let you go-let him go
Seth Johnson! we will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go let me go
No,no,no,no,no,no,no-
Thanks for Eric, Thanks For Eric, Thanks for Eric, He's a god-
Ferdinand a red devil for £30 mil, £30 mil, £30 Mil

So you think its funny to sing songs when people die-
So you think we'll all miss you because you cried-
Oh leeds scum-you make me @#%$ my sides leeds scum-
Just going down-just going right outta here-

Leeds are going under
Anyone can see,
Leeds are going under, and I think it's really Funneeee!
Goths have feelings too

At the end of the day, football isn't life... its far more important!

At least we've known it was gonna happen for a bit.
If we'd have been relegated out of the blue I'd have locked myself in a dark room forever, I couldn't have taken it!

Come on Purple, you're reducing yourself to the level of Geordies and bin-dippers by admitting that. Even Bayern fans didn't cry (too much) when we mugged them in 99.

I'm under orders to stop winding Reece (my 10 yr-old son) up about it. And I thought he was taking it quite well.

Right, that's enough, back to the ace sing-a-long-a-Queen...

'Seth Johnson...we will not let you go. Let Him Go'. Priceless.

That WAS pretty unlucky timing, although Bellamy seems to be heading for Veron-esque levels of use of the sicknote. Or Wes Brown-esque, come to that.

Aye I'll agree with the last bit.
I think someone should put Johnson out of his (& our) misery & just shoot the hapless tw@t.

Bit of inside info for U... Ian 'the model' Dowie will be our next manager.

Now then Purp, why would Ian Dowie want to leave a club (kindof) in a reasonable state, and join one that's f**ked (for a few years at least). Strachan's yer man. Or George Graham

Paddy (Not bitter at all about all our injured players.)
Can we update the "Shearer let the toon doon" classic to incorporate his latest costly penalty miss? :innocent:

Joking apart, though, why are you bitter about your injured players? Even allowing for red-and-white prejudice, you can't seriously tell me you think the likes of Jenas and Dyer are any good?

Woodgate? Hmmm .... remember his "majestic, imperious" performance in the first leg against Marseille? And remember which team came closer to scoring in that match (clue, they weren't wearing black and white but they were sitting back and keeping men behind the ball, looking for a counter-attack which the "imperious" defender couldn't handle).

Newcastle's problem isn't that they are bad side. More amusingly it's that they're nothing like as good a side as they think.

Luckily we have a truly awful team who seem to be too dim to recognise this fact and occasionally manage to play above themselves.
