Is it a coincidence that...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

... the first and last two letters of Gonzoid Amphetamine Filth spell ...

Goth

Have I made a significant discovery here? :notworthy:

Or am I just a bit slow?

Or is this what happens when you stay sober five nights in a row?

I feel the strange lure of the Lyrics section...
Go to sleep now, Francis.

Does that mean that people could be slagging off sad Utvy bands if things had been slightly different?

To do with Gonzo:

"With total commitment, total concentration, and a mad sort of panache" according to Hunter S Thompson, the man who seemingly invented the word.

So...

It's like The Great Gonzo squatting in his own excrement taking loads of speed then?

No wonder Von has problems with the tag.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I only ever took speed once. It just kept me awake when I wanted to go to sleep. There was bugger all to do in Leeds @ 3am in 1983.
Go to sleep now, Francis.
