Yep. Got to about page 20 and fell asleep. But then, I've never been that keen on reading since Enid Blyton passed away.
Go to sleep now, Francis.

Yeah I have it.
Bought it about 3 months ago.
I have to concur with Thrash a bit though, it did start to bore me after a while.
Worth getting though I suppose.

mine's got the original cover - wth the sisters & the smoke.
its all right.
he's not the best writer in the world, and he can draw some bizzare conclusions at times, but he was there, and as a chronological account of how a group of bands emerged almost simultaniously and formed a "scene", its interesting.

Does anyone on this forum speak or comprehend Mick Mercer?Red Sunsets wrote:After

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
I read it and found it fairly entertaining. As Quiffy said, he's not a great writer, (and his line on goth is all over the place) but it's a competent summary of a fairly engaging history, so it's got to be worth a tenner.

We love Mr. Mercer here at Buxville Towers. We think he's great.
He'll make somebody a great journalist one day.... just after he learns how to remember the facts, and how to string a sentence together. Seriously. A great journalist.
