How close of a figure is there to the number of gigs which the Sisters have performed? Sure, include Speed Kings and similar practice gigs. Even count Sabina's living room. Granted, some gigs are in doubt, but how many are confirmed, and how many are probable?
No snide comments about how many more to expect is necessary or even requested.

Well, there are 396 gigs listed on the official gigography so that's a decent ballpark figure to start at...
And no, before anyone accuses me of being sad, I didn't count them, a handy copy-and-paste into a spreadsheet and look at the row number of the last one.

Jeez, I'm only trying to help out Martin with his question, what's wrong with that?

My ballpark figure was less than 1% out then.Dan wrote:I make it 1981-1985: 204 gigs
1990-2003: 218 gigs
A grand total of 422.

I assume that your tally comes from
1) the gigs listed at the official site
2) the ones mentioned in this thread http://www.myheartland.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=4771, and
3) the December 1993 ones which are not on the offical site.
Did you include any others?

Yes

Yes, except the cancelled ones (obviously) and one or two of the unconfirmed ones which I think seem unlikely.

Yes.

The Utah Saints thing. Not strictly a Sisters gig but Andrew Eldritch IS the Sisters Of Mercy.
