Bloody men!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Thinking about it, isn't us blokes saying if she doesn't want us to look, she shouldn't wear those clothes straying into the sort of territory where a rapist justifies himself with she was wearing a short skirt--she was asking for it?

Hmmm?

My Philly 97/Avatar joke was just that. And a very bad one at that. :urff:

No it's not the same. Umm, I sense this thread is slowly drifting towards the PC line. As simple as possible; if you wear a slogan on your t-shirt on your 'chest' people will read the slogan and also look at your 'chest'. Male or female, makes no difference. Put the lid back on that can of worms Marky Mark.

It's not the same, no. Looking at someone is hardly in the same league as rape. "A cat can look at the Queen"

I can hardly claim to be guiltless on the "ogling girlies with skimpy clothes" front; I was trying to see the issue from the "other side" if you will. Kind of like Devil's Advocate?

BTW there should have been a ;) after the "clicky". To point out I knew it was a joke.

 My signature is a comment someone made on another board, on the futility of a hypothetical attempt to assassinate George W Bush.

Good shout, JB.

I recall an argument with a bouncer in York who wouldn't let me in wearing football colours "for my own safety". Frankly, I'd argue that I'll be the judge of that, but I have to accept if I'm wearing a Sunderland shirt it is going to attract attention and, in some circumstances, aggression.

That's a long way from me "asking for it" (attention or aggression), but it's an inevitable side-effect. So I pick and choose the times I wear colours. Why doesn't that apply to women?

There's a suit for every occasion, of course.

Wearing one of these when invited at the first lesbian marriage, might not be a good idea...

It does apply to woman. I'll be the first to admit I'll oggle a good looking guy, the less clothed the better, as in underwear models.

The hard cold reality is if you don't want to be ooggled, don't expose it. That includes your tits, your ass and everything in between. If you are offended by the leers or admiring glances if you choose to expose yourself, then that's just hypocritical and you ought to wear something else.
