JB on tour 2004

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Where do old, tall, lardasses stand in this grading system?

Being OTL I find the bar the optimum viewing area.

I thought this topic was on JB's tours, or travails ......

So it's winter in S. Africa....I'm looking forward to both your (that means you Hal) recounts. In full detail and with pictures (yes Hal another means to shamelessly self promote... ) of the two of you.

Oh, and back on topic, Ian Hunter at the London Astoria tonight with a gang of school chums. The gig is very close to selling out so should make an interesting contrast to the 300 in Cardiff two weeks ago. The man may be very elderly but he's also very bastard groovy. :notworthy:

Another top nite out doing the EBG groove. Isn't it nice to listen to quality musicians every now and then. :D

I won't bore you with the details other than to say that the set-list was changed and they finished with Memphis. Cue 'secret surprise guest'. Cue Mr Brian May. Yep, all white-suited and poodle-permed. :notworthy:

Cue 4 min pop song turned into a 15 min Ralphs/May duelling geetar fest. Nice. 8)

@ RS - Forgot! Prior to Memphis we had a very rare outing of 'Michael Picasso'. Very poignant and met with due reverence and all those bics and zippos in the air. :notworthy: He was a top man. :(

I know you're all bored with this one but hey it keeps me happy and makes me feel like a Millwall fan.

Off on Sunday for the penultimate gig before the PRWY; South Africa!

Two days/nights wine tasteing and looking at elephants. A day/night in Cape Town with Mr I may Not Be Drinking As The Doc Thinks Alcohol May be One Of The Triggers For My Cluster Headaches And Yes I'm A Big Girl's Blouse And No You Can't Trepann My Skull Hallucienate.

Then off to Sun City for two days of workshops  but I just had to share the final evening with you. A Gala Dinner, and I quote ' ...followed by 'dancing' to Thandi & Abel

I'm sure that after Thandi & Abel you'll be begging to have your skull trapanned, with a jack hammer. You've got my number and even my address so you know how to look me up

Cluster headaches sucks, I'm currently on two types of medication for them :urff: :urff:

Damn! Now I'll have to rethink my plans for when he makes his pilgrimage to the Holy City. Was gonna give him Morrison's Tex-Mex washed down with lashings of ginger beer.
Go to sleep now, Francis.
